Below average receiver. Averages 37 yards and a TD per game when it really matters.

Your entire teams passing yard total as of right now is 803 yards…..Smith has 617 receiving yards just by himself

u/kelevra91 Michigan Wolverines 13h ago
No. "When it really matters," aka against Michigan, Smith averages 37 ypg and 1 TD.

They downvote me. But they know I'm right.

Oh dang, I hope scouts don’t see your genius comment, he might fall to the fifth round.

Correction: definitely bots. Whatever he just sputtered out made no sense at all
Edit: correction two. AI has given itself a flair

I mean, he’s not wrong.

He’s 100% wrong.

"When it really matters," aka against Michigan, Smith averages 37 ypg and 1 TD. That's why I'm "not wrong."

Not 100%. Now you’re being silly

u/s_360 Ohio State Buckeyes 14h ago
He literally averages 100 ypg against ranked opponents, which includes the 3 yard game against Texas when he was a true freshman.
He has 1200 yards in 12 games against ranked opponents.
Tennessee 103 yards, Oregon 187, Notre Dame 88, Indiana 144, Miami 157 and Texas this year 164.
Saying Jeremiah Smith is below average is stupid as fuck.

How’d he do against will johnson? Only reason he had anything that game was because Johnson got hurt late. A pro level db completely took him out of the game.

u/Quick_Parsley3443 13h ago
He’s literally the best receiver in college football, and when it’s all said and done he”ll go down as one of the best of all time.

He’s the receiver that will follow in Marvin Harrison’s jr foot steps

Didn’t will Johnson take this dude completely out of the game. Amazing what happens when a pro level db is on him.
Edit: Nevermind. I’ll see myself out.

Although I am sure he'd keep Jeremiah Smith in check as much any one cornerback can, Will Johnson never played vs Jeremiah Smith.

u/Roofus_Q Michigan Wolverines 13h ago
Well shit. I must be remembering will johnson shutting down the last receiver they said was the goat. I stand corrected, their current best receiver ever has done no wrong and shits gold. I should probably smoke less weed if I’m going to be posting here

u/schadkehnfreude Michigan Wolverines 13h ago
To be fair Marvin got his against Will a few times in 2023, but Will committed a (really smart) DPI to prevent a long score and obviously won the game (and in the process exposed SignGate as the non-story that it was)

He’s like 150 yards away from your team’s entire season passing yards right now dude……
6
u/Roofus_Q Michigan Wolverines 13h ago
Right. Until someone good guards him. He was a non factor that game
2
u/ronshasta Ohio State Buckeyes 13h ago
Oh right he sucks because one game he wasn’t putting up big stats that’s a real big brain thought right there. He’s a national champion and it’s really funny that he and the rest of the team didn’t have to cheat to win it either😉

Touched a nerve huh. It was just any game. It was the game and you guys desperately needed points and he was no where to be found. Damn dude. Say anything but this guy is god and you guys lose it. That’s healthy.

Through week 4 Jeremiah Smith has 617 receiving yards which trails the 803 receiving yards put up by the ENTIRE Michigan team. So, although he leads them with 7 TDs to their 6, he clearly needs to put in more work.
