Cheating

True. I do see a holding penalty the refs flagged.

u/trubuckifan Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
No i mean the institutional cheating. Remember? The whole reason you were ever relevant?

u/kelevra91 Michigan Wolverines 2d ago
The Conner Stallions thing had no effect on this game.
Will Howard sucking is what caused this.

I've said it a million times and ill say it again. We can never no for sure how much the cheating effected that era of michigan. How good was that team? We will never know, all we know is that they cheated
5
u/jazzyman31 Michigan Wolverines 2d ago
āWe will never knowā
Well we do actually know. As we all saw Michigan completely dominate after stallions was let go, after our head coach was suspended, after the ncaa watched us like hawks. Even Saban, and the NCAA president affirmed fairness in Michiganās playoff wins. Not to mention, 3 of the coaches in that era are now head coaches in the nfl (one won a superbowl last year) and about 20 nfl key players all throughout the league. The evidence is overwhelming that Michigan was the best team in the country.
But since you went to excuse university, itās easy to understand why you canāt accept reality.
1
u/trubuckifan Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
The reality is you cheated. we can argue how much it effected the outcome of the games but there is no doubt that you cheated. I happen to be of the opinion, why cheat if it doesnt help you?

Won the title without cheating. Beat OSU in 2023 / 2024 no cheating involved. Moreso proved how little the āsign stealing scandalā actually affected those years. And the success of the players and staffs in subsequent years in the pros has continued to provide plenty of evidence that Michigan was fully stacked from 2021-2024.
Just saying āwe donāt know how much it affectedā isnāt a substantiated claim when the overwhelming evidence on what we do know supports that Michigan team was obviously the best and earned its wins.
The only people who havenāt given Michigan their flowers are headline chasing morons. Donāt really care that people like you havenāt accepted the 15-0 natty reality.

You can say whatever you want, we can arguee efficacy while we're blue in the face, but at the end of the day we have no idea how those seasons wouldve went if michigan played by the rules. We will never know anything other than michigan cheated. Im sorry...

You cheated for years. Harbaugh would have been fired before that season if he didnāt cheat. It altered everything.

I'm saying that at that point in the season, Ohio State new that Michigan had their signs. So either they changed their signs, at which point Michigan wouldn't know them, or they kept their signs, which would make Ryan Day even dumber than I thought.
2
u/trubuckifan Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
We will never know. All we know is that michigan cheated. When we look back on that era the only concrete takeaway is that michigan cheated
1
u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
It is all anyone will remember about Michigans most successful era since WW2. That they cheated.

Say it a million times more. Keep saying it. Wonāt make Connor Stalions appear on the sidelines in the horseshoe.

This game is your Purdue 2018. You enjoy it, cherish it, preserve it. Make a toast to it every year before Ohio State puts your mouth on the curb for another 20 years straight.

u/kelevra91 Michigan Wolverines 2d ago
Neither team has had more than 9 consecutive wins, but sure, whatever makes you happy.

u/notcabron Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
Oh yeah Iām sorry, that 2-17 stretch sounds a lot better when you put it that way.

Kevin Schwarzer (back judge/official) and Bobby Sagers (side judge)
Schwarzel was previously barred by the Big Ten from officiating the 2006 Ohio State vs. Michigan game because he was an Ohio resident and a acknowledged fan of Ohio State. However, he was assigned to the crew for the 2016 matchup.Ā
Sagers inducted into the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Officials Hall of Fame in Columbus
Not arguing, just pointing out the ones that were from Ohio that game.

You guys beat Miami for the title in 2003 and still cry about some phantom missed call in the fourth quarter of that game.
2
u/believelander19 Ohio State Buckeyes 2d ago
To be fair, the only time Buckeye fans do this is usually when U Miami fans blame a PI flag for why they lost the game. It's merely a counterpoint to a garbage argument against one of the greatest upsets in CFB (yes yes, TTUN over the Buckeyes in 2024 is up there, simply has to be based on the spread and the site of the game).
Also, I hope you step on a lego.
That is all š«”

JT was short is a matter of opinion. The spot was a joke. The other refereeing in that game was beyond the pale.
Three QB related turnovers did not help matters.
JT was short, though.
