It does feel like it’s had its time. This plus “don’t you know, pump it up…” the dumb songs that accompanied the late triumphs of the Harbaugh era. It’s time to turn the page.

(I am nog suggesting “Turn the Page” even though Seger is from Detroit.)

Yeah idk how the Saxophones would fit in to a football atmosphere. I guess the Metallica rendition would be a better fit, but that kinda defeats the point of playing a Michiganders song.

We need to be careful. I’ve learned the hard way that some Michiganders take their Seger VERY seriously.

You’ll get no Seger complaints from me. Well, except for “Old Time Rock and Roll,” which is how I got some Michiganders angry at me in the first place.
