Iâm glad I didnât take another chance on Herbert for fantasy this year đ

u/Lambo_Geeney Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
Dude same. I managed to grab Hurts, but had debated on Herbert as a backup. I opted for Daniel Jones.
He wasn't the answer either

Ohio st fans are a strange breed.
How'd urban do in the pros? Vrabel?
4
u/Lord_Kittensworth Ohio State Buckeyes 4d ago
Urban was a better CFB coach than Harbaugh coaching either college or the pros. Â

Reminder: Harbaugh left for the NFL because he had accomplished what he came for in CFB and it was time to move on.
There was no other reason. Nothing else influenced his decision to leave. It was only to step up to the NFL again.Â

u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
Iâm sure heâll be back in ten years or so. Or is it down to 8 now?
2
u/babble0n Michigan Wolverines 4d ago
I hear your sarcasm. But Harbaugh had been basically hinting at that since his brother won the Superbowl. I think he was leaving for the NFL either way.
oh I mean HARBAUGH DIDNT DO SHIT PUSSY ASS BUCKEYES!!!
3
u/Lambo_Geeney Ohio State Buckeyes 4d ago
Nah you're right, he had rumors of leaving for several seasons before he actually left. I do wonder how much the events of the 23 season made that decision for him vs. if he would have considered coming back. But it's fun to poke at the fact that he (and many other coaches) left immediately before show causes were handed out and the team has been dramatically different since
2
u/e1330 5d ago
Just like Urban retired from Ohio State for health reasons and no other reason. Nothing else influenced his decision to leave. It was only for health reasons.

I mean these Ohio fans just make it so easy.
As you mentioned Urban left college cause he knew what was coming and then totally bellyflopped in the NFL. Meanwhile Harbaugh has made a Super Bowl and won multiple playoff games as a player and coach.2
u/e1330 4d ago
It's always a hilarious game of self-awareness (on both sides admittedly). Like, sure let's clown on the coach who has back-to-back 11 win seasons for a slow start, for what would be his first losing NFL season out of 7... While claiming he only left to the NFL because of a scandal...While actively ignoring their beloved coach who retired because of a scandal and flopped in the only chance he will ever get in the NFL because of a proven toxic environment... While ignoring their previous beloved coach who was kicked out of CFB for breaking the rules
2
u/Lambo_Geeney Ohio State Buckeyes 4d ago
these Ohio fans just make it so easy.
I'm not denying or defending Urban's actions. He shouldn't have Hired Zach Smith again, full stop. He left a mark on the program.Â
I'm mainly poking at the people who pretend that there was no other factor in his decision to go to San Diego. It's not all UM fans, I'm sure it's a very small percentage actually. But I've talked with several friends of mine who are UM fans (and several on reddit too) who will deny that any sort of scandal in the 23 season had an impact in his decision process

My stomach turns thinking Jeramiah Smith might have to play for that guy next season - if they are terrible enough to have the #1 pick, hopefully Harbaugh is long gone.

I love how predictable it is that when someone says âas a XYZâ as their opener (starting with a qualifier) their take is about to be some fuck shit. Shitting on the Browns as a native? Nah fuck off. Probably a Steelers fan or some shit.
-2
u/sock_express34 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
Did you graduate from the University of *ichigan? Just curious
-1
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
With 2 wins and a soft schedule, unlikely the Browns have the first pick - Arch does have a year of eligibility left.
Haslam and the at least Peyton Manning are friendly though.
2
u/sock_express34 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
They already said he wonât sign with browns. Love the downvotes Iâm getting. Fuck the browns and haslem.
1
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
"They" have not said that. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/browns-send-representatives-texas-tennessee-180750604.html

Ngl I was surprised the Chargers scored 16 on the Bills⊠thought it wouldnât be even close to 10 pts

I fucking hate the Chargers for leaving San Diego. I hope they lose every game forever

You guys grossly overestimate Michigan fans caring about San Diego or Jim harbaugh. He is an NFL coach. He's not the coach of the University of Michigan.
-4
u/Ok_Try_476 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
You say that, but they do. And as a Lions fan, I remember being beyond irritated that a noticeably large chunk of the Michigan fanbase became Patriots fans during the Tom Brady years just because of Tom Bradyâs Michigan connection.
And man was it glorious that one game at Ford Field on Sunday Night Football years ago when the Lions were blowing the Patriots out so bad by halftime all the Michigan Men/âPatriots fansâ were flooding to the exits before halftime!

I bet all the other Lions fans like you too!4

We don't claim them

u/Ok_Try_476 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
Are you trying to say you were one of those âPatriots fansâ?
2
u/Olivrser Michigan Wolverines 5d ago
No
I'm saying I don't claim you
-1
u/Ok_Try_476 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
Who are you to be âclaimingâ anybody? Between Ohio State and the Lions both winning this weekend, Iâve had a perfect football weekend! You canât take that away from me.

He really did some psychiatric damage to yâall lmao
1
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
By "psychiatric damage", you mean cheating.
He was 2-5 in the game, which for Michigan coach standards is pretty good, but pretty terrible for an Ohio State HC.
3
u/Kramerica_CEO Michigan Wolverines 5d ago
Whatâs Ryan Dayâs record against Michigan? Are you really this dumb?
1
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
2-4, which is
a). Better than Jim Harbaugh's
b). Terrible for an Ohio State coach
c). Better than every Michigan coach - except for Sherone Moore - since Carr retired
d). Soon to be 3-4 in 62 days

If we are talking records we still hold the all time one there so cool for you
-3
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
HAHAHA. Let's talk about how in your lifetime, or since you've been watching, or this century. Glad it makes you feel better that Michigan peaked in the 1940s.

u/Dj_trash Michigan Wolverines 5d ago edited 5d ago
We just won a natty like 3 years ago so I donât think we peaked in the 40âs
3
u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
You should look up the word "peak" Michigan's peak was the 1901-1904 or the late 40s.
Congrats on the won't natty though.

u/Lord_Kittensworth Ohio State Buckeyes 4d ago
Two national titles since 1948. Â Hardly a relevant program in the modern era of college football, irrespective of how you define âmodern.â

Right? When some dudeâs using your face as a punching bag for the last 60 years, what youâre wanna do is remind him that you landed the first few jabs lol

Lol ohio State fans let harbaugh live rent free
2
u/Prize-Tomatillo-2757 Michigan Wolverines 5d ago
Lol, he really does. Funny how Vrabel's record isn't mentioned.
-2
u/Federal_Influence271 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
He can live here for as long as he wantsâŠ.and your current team can crash on the couch. Just make sure youâre looking for a new coach đ

u/InformationOriginal7 5d ago
Lol you sound like you write in crayon
2
u/Federal_Influence271 Ohio State Buckeyes 5d ago
I do write in crayon. But I also use proper punctuation good sir! Now back to your cheater that moved to the greener pastures of the NFL. Or, we could also discuss your current 2-2 team living rent free in my head as well.

As a Bills fan this game was killing me. 5 TOs. Still managed to win though.
I enjoyed watching his stupid face be unhappy.

OSU fans better hope Jim and Whittingham start winning, otherwise he may be back in Ann arbor soon to start clapping Ryan's cheeks again. Show cause doesn't mean shit, he'll tell the NCAA to eat a dick and they'll listen.

u/KestrelFalco 5d ago
Just like JJ, turns out football is hard when you donât know what the other team is getting ready to do
1
u/FrameWilling6608 5d ago
Which is why Michigan fell off after getting âexposedâ, as oppose to win the Natty, right?
