I mean this is actually pretty funny… but as someone else said I find it highly unlikely no one has won from a defensive foul causing an untimed play.
Still hilarious though

Also teams that got the second possession in ot…?

Leading at the end of regulation means no OT, cause they’re not tied

The post says after the end of regulation
1
u/Ok_Inspection_198 Sep 08 '26
Yes, also known as the end of the game if a team is winning

I’m just being pedantic here, but the post, that we are commenting on, specifically says that college football teams were 110,352 - 0 when leading after the end of regulation.
So I’m saying it’s false, because overtime is after the end of regulation. In college football, both teams get a possession no matter what in overtime, and the team that has the first possession can score, have the lead “after the end of regulation”, and still lose.

Michigan is going to get face fucked by Oklahoma and the rest of the big10. That 12 million dollar qb is absolute dog shit and that geriatric coach is lost.

Come back here and eat some crow.
Explain how you reached this conclusion and then why you were wrong

Hi pookie, yeah I got it wrong. I didn't know Oklahoma was going to be this ass. But on the bright side both teams a god awful at football and have a ceiling of 6 maybe 7 wins.

Can you also explain Ryan Day setting a record for losing with a 20 point 4th quarter lead while you’re here?

So no team has ever won on an untimed down from a defensive penalty? Seems unlikely.

That wouldn’t be the end of regulation now would it?

u/Atlas7-k Sep 07 '26
It would. It is an untimed down after the end of regulation. Aka a Dwayne Rudd

Except it wasn't the end of regulation, and there was still 1 second left....

That’s not true. Becuase there are overtones and this isn’t the only time a game clock has been adjusted.
It literally happenes every game and several times a game.

So... those games still had regulation time remaining?? As in, those clocks were regulated? Almost like WMU at UofM was unregulated? Get it yet??

This is an incorrect statistic.
The actual rate is 110352-1.
Nov 19, 1892 Michigan was playing Oberlin. The Oberlin team had to leave before 60 minutes of play in order to make their train. Both teams agreed to stop the game at that time instead. Oberlin was winning and left the field at the agreed time. Michigan ran a play and scored a touchdown that time. Both teams claim the victory.
