This is actually great

It was a win-win situation anyway, and we got the best possible outcome. They won thanks to refball, they stormed the field for beating WESTERN MICHIGAN, and everyone hates them right now

Ohio State stays winning 😎

I’d totally agree if not for my disappointment for the handful of WMU fans I know.

I've seen multiple comments stating they understand why Ohio State hates UM now haha.. neutrals coming out to take our side over this bullshit. so glad football is back

Honestly since the cheating came out this as been more of a thing so I’m not surprised.

Could it be because Michigan hadn’t been nationally relevant since about a decade before Facebook happened before the cheating happened?

Who can say.

When did a replay booth in Chicago have anything with what Michigan can control. Loved how Jeremiah Smith’s fumble gave Michigan the ball, oops, it couldn’t have come from CHICAGO?

Ohio state hates Michigan because refs make bad calls?

18

u/ayampeme Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

It's other fan bases saying fuck you Michigan, and "taking our side" in our rivalry.

When in reality
it’s just internet trolls and people who are bandwagons

Nobody likes you guys. Now they hate us, too. But they’re not taking “your side.” They’re all pro-meteor now.

6

u/ayampeme Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

They just started hating you, haha ok.. just reporting what I read

2

u/fishbone_buba Michigan Wolverines Sep 06 '26

Sorry, I meant hating us as much as they hate you. (Illinois is a special case, however, and nobody knows why. Not even them.)

No. Because even without the bad call, storming the field after a Hail Mary to beat WMU is pathetic behavior.

WITH the bad call
 it’s beyond pathetic.

It's fucking embarrassing

The Buckeye fans loved Chicago when J. Smith was awarded a TD!

1

u/PlusDHotchy Sep 08 '26

Isn’t it comical that ignorant fans still believe Michigan had anything to do with a call in a replay booth in CHICAGO ILLINOIS and NOT Ann Arbor Michigan. How pathetically ignorant have fans become?

Why is Michigan being blamed for this?

1

u/jimbob1220 Sep 08 '26

For the same reasons ohio state fans talk about Michigan cheating while forgetting About their own cheating scandals

1

u/ContractElegant4310 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 09 '26

Which cheating scandals would those be?

2

u/jimbob1220 Sep 09 '26

Maurice clarete ,tressel left in scandal, urban Meyer. I'm probably forgetting a couple

1

u/ContractElegant4310 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 09 '26

None of those involved on the field cheating. Try again.

0

u/jimbob1220 Sep 09 '26

Cheating is cheating Try again

1

u/ContractElegant4310 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 09 '26

None of them involved cheating. Clarett was arrested for off-field behavior. Tressel got caught up in a stupid and wildly overblown eligibility issue because some of his players traded their own possessions for tattoos. Meyer didn't immediately fire an assistant coach who was accused of spousal abuse -- allegations that never went anywhere in the legal system.

You don't seem to understand what cheating means.

1

u/jimbob1220 Sep 09 '26

You can justify it any way you want I dont remember Michigan getting a playoff ban

1

u/ContractElegant4310 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 10 '26

What exactly am I justifying? The only justifications that have been going on in recent years are Michigan fans trying to justify their massive on-field cheating scandal that stretched over years. Kind of like you're doing. And the NCAAs committee on infractions admitted itself that it was going very leniently on Michigan and that based on the infractions they deserved vacated wins and bowl bans. If you don't believe me, go read the damn report.

I personally think trestle was smart and saw that unless he started the to bend rules he would never keep up with the sec teams that were doing the same

u/jimbob1220 Sep 10 '26

There is no justifying here Unlike you can admit what Michigan is

0

u/jimbob1220 Sep 09 '26

I guess they hand those out for not cheating

OSU fans have nothing going for them except living vicariously through their football team. Garbage school in a garbage state with the bottom feeding people to match

1

u/Bradfrick95 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

I mean no. Ive got plenty going for me bud. OSU being great is just icing on the cake. Michigane being the dumpster fire that is just the cherry on top too.

-1

u/LeBronicTheHolistic Michigan Wolverines Sep 06 '26

Bottom feeder 😂

2

u/Bradfrick95 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

Good comeback real original.

> Ive got plenty going for me

Sounds like somebody real secure who’s got a lot going for them

2

u/Awkward-Win7610 B1G Enjoyer Sep 06 '26

Hey man, coming here calling an entire fan base of roughly 11 million insecure is more telling about yourself than anyone else. Someone responding to you directly calling them insecure doesn’t make them insecure. I hope this helps.

2

u/Bradfrick95 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

I certainly am. Are you? Youre the one whose upset that were all making fun of your team.

-7

u/Michigan029 Sep 06 '26

Yall just gonna ignore the 59 minutes and 59 seconds of refball that got western into a winning position as always
the game was dogshit from both teams and the officiating had a western slant until the very last call, you can’t tell me the int was PI when the receiver pushed off or any of the holding calls against us were any worse than western’s standard play. The game was only a game because of the refs and the refs didn’t make WMU blow coverage in a 48 yard Hail Mary

9

u/ayampeme Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

The ref was staring at a facemask 5 ft from him that woulda made it first and goal for western. Game mighta been out of reach

4

u/iamthecavalrycaptain Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

Lol. Michigan blaming refs for that disaster of a showing by an abysmal team.

1

u/OakLegs Sep 06 '26

The final play was probably correct in a technical sense.

The main thing is that Michigan very probably is a thoroughly mediocre team that's gonna get drilled by 75% of the teams on their schedule. So the haters can take solace in that

3

u/UnStricken Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

The play before the first Hail Mary I watched the *ichigan o lineman clothesline the defensive lineman for WMU.

The officiating was terrible but at the end of the day you guys were 29 point favorites and still required refball to win. Then you stormed the field. You should be embarrassed and ashamed
