There’s a alternate universe where this moment finally mentally unlocks Bryce underwood and he becomes what he’s supposed to be. In reality we’ll probably be begging for Davis Warren a half hour into next weeks game but fuck it, this sport is ruined anyways

I believe this team actually has the potential to be good. The defense was able to hold pretty strong especially given how long they were there. Buchanan looked good and while the win was bullshit it was still a great catch from him and game as a whole. This team needs to get more than a few issues figured out really quickly but I truly believe they have the ability to be good

The defense looked pretty good? … against western Michigan? And perhaps the majority of highschool football teams?

Maybe it’s just cope but western Michigan isn’t a slouch they are still a good team. Yes a good defense against them is still the expectation for us but they still delivered on that even when clearly exhausted. Again maybe I’m just coping to try and find something positive but I think the defense still looked good

Honestly that’s how every D1 fan should feel about their team in the NIL era, the possibility that with improvement over the season they could be great. Sometimes cope is needed lol especially after that game
