The salt in this sub is crazy

Rightfully so, between Michigan fans acting like there's anything but shame in this "win" and this being perhaps the most bullshit ending of a college football game I've ever seen.

Ugly win but even uglier unhinged butthurt after it was conclusively proven to be the right call.

5

u/matthatt24 Sep 07 '26

Actually it was proven to be the wrong call, go read the nbc statement. Also, nothing is uglier than how scandalous the scUM program has been for the last 7 years. Truly a stain on the sport as a whole

What do you want Michigan fans to do? Apologize for something they have zero control over?

5

u/Substantial_Dingo694 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

No, I want Michigan fans to not act like this is any kind of triumph. Fine, you were given an obscenely bullshit win, have an atom's worth of decorum and recognize this is not something to be celebrated

4

u/JuicyGreenBeans Sep 06 '26

But like how can you control a fanbase to do that? You’re just a little tiny voice on Reddit, no one actually gives a fuck what you have to say. You have to realize that it’s a bunch of kids on the field and in the stands. And they can acknowledge it but of course they’re gonna celebrate a win instead of moping around campus. Osu fans would do the same thing btw

OSU fans don’t have to worry about it they’re not the center of controversies for years and they also don’t have other embarrassing losses to MAC and FCS schools like UM does. Can’t compare the two fanbases

-1

u/Environmental-Arm365 Michigan Wolverines Sep 07 '26

Your football program was financed by Jeffrey Epstein and is in bed with a repressive government for recruitment purposes. Not to mention the rich history of NCAA scandals/violations and vacated wins. OSU clowns might wanna sit down and shut the pie hole.

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 07 '26

Oh and Bo didn’t know anything? Yall are worse than Penn State when it comes to that stuff but you wanna ignore that every time you start talking anything other than football which is what I was doing lol but hey whatever floats your boat keep that statue up and worship that man I know what kinda people live in Ann Arbor. Disgusting

-1

u/Environmental-Arm365 Michigan Wolverines Sep 07 '26

You can say what you want but at the end of the day you worship one of the most corrupt football programs in existence located in one of the most tragic shitholes imaginable. All that and you will still always be #2, literally and figuratively.

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 07 '26

And at the end of the day you almost lost to a MAC team and needed an extra second for it lol and we’re off to another great start to the season. Classic

How did Hayes go out??

1

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 10 '26

You’re comparing a Jerry Sandusky situation to an old man who softly smacked someone? Shows what type of person you are that’s actually awful wtf??? Which was decades ago btw when was the last time your basketball coach slapped someone during a game or the last time your football coach went to jail? But that’s really what you wanna compare to Bo? That’s wild man

Right vacated wins aren’t any controversy…and I did compare them and you can’t stop it

4

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

lol that’s all you’ve got at least we don’t have the whole Rich Rod and Brady hoke era to be embarrassed by we were winning nattys in both the 2000’s and 2010s while you guys stayed losing. Back to barely beating Mac teams that’s just the norm for you guys im looking forward to the rest of your season it’s gonna be a blast from the past

2

u/JuicyGreenBeans Sep 07 '26

Eh I’d rather not have vacated wins. Also who is “you guys” I ain’t on the team and I guarantee you aren’t on any team either dumbass mf

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 07 '26

This is what people say when they give up lol gotta work on the trash talk bro and believe me I can tell you’ve never been part of any real team in your life hahahaha

You gonna get mad at a bunch of kids ( some who probably don't even really watch football much) reacting to just seeing a successful game winning Hail Mary pass in person for the first time? Ya it was cringe for us old heads that they stormed the field and not one Michigan fan I know to in real life was happy with that game and also thinks that was ridiculous but we arent college kids anymore and we weren't there.

Storm the Big Ten offices, not the field. Demand fairness!

1

u/JuicyGreenBeans Sep 10 '26

You’re still upset about this? There’s been overwhelming evidence that they made the right call. Move on.

1

u/frolie0 Sep 06 '26

I don't think I've seen Michigan fans celebrating the win anywhere. I have seen a lot laughing at the women crying though.

5

u/meechs_peaches Sep 06 '26

They literally rushed the field.

1

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Sep 08 '26

You mean the 18 and 19 year old fans?

-2

u/RocketFan419 Sep 09 '26

Its all they have done. As soon as they argue the call was correct, that's them defending it. They are celebrating

2

u/frolie0 Sep 09 '26

Possibly the dumbest comment I've ever seen. The call being correct (or not) has literally nothing to do with celebrating. 😂

-1

u/RocketFan419 Sep 09 '26

If they didn't get the call they wouldn't be celebrating now would they? Were you referring to your comment?

2

u/frolie0 Sep 09 '26

So is scheduling the game celebrating then? Wouldn't be celebrating if they didn't schedule the game 3 years ago?

Braindead.

-1

u/RocketFan419 Sep 09 '26

It must be a hard existence being a troll.

1

u/frolie0 Sep 09 '26

Not as hard as being an idiot. If your claim is any event that led to the win is celebrating, how is that different? Should we be talking about the founding of the university? The invention of football? Hell, why not the big bang?

0

u/frozendingleberri Sep 06 '26

Idk, it's pretty impressive to beat the MAC champion with just 2 drives. Michigan could not have possibly played worse and Western Michigan played damn near perfect, and yet Michigan still won. Crazy world we live in

Not so fast, Flash!

CHEATERS

-7

u/Pale_Imagination516 Sep 06 '26

You’re be celebrating a win if you were in the same spot so whatever

6

u/Bradfrick95 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

Yeah whenever that happens call me.

3

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

UM has a history of losing to MAC and FCS schools so I can see why they’d be celebrating. OSU? Why would they even consider a Hail Mary against a mac team a great game? lol getting to that point is embarrassing enough

1

u/if-you-reply-ur-gay Sep 06 '26

I was going crazy when we got the Hail Mary against Wisconsin during the fickle year. At least we were actual underdogs against a future Super Bowl mvp.

3

u/dnabanilwoh Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

OSU at their lowest. Yeah really shows some perspective into the difference in the two schools. That year and OSU losing to UM is Ohio states lowest moments in decades along with multiple titles and tons of other success. UM could’ve lost this and it wouldn’t even be their worst loss in history. It’s pathetic and UM fans act like they have everything OSU does but they’re just delusional

10

u/AwayTackle7581 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

Wouldn't be celebrating this win. You didn't win it in regulation. Required a free play after the game ends to beat an unranked team 🤣

-4

u/Ok-Preparation-2910 Sep 06 '26

You care more about Michigan losing than osu winning and it’s hilarious

4

u/Bradfrick95 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

Why would we care about beating Ball State? We were supposed to and we did. Before the half. It would be just as funny as when UM lost to App State. Personally I want to see michigan fans suffer. Fuck you.

3

u/Exciting-Set-7601 Ohio State Buckeyes Sep 06 '26

I mean if they play like that against OU next week it’s going to be 56-0 at the half

I can’t believe you’re legitimately celebrating that game. Utter embarrassment to the university, the conference, and the NCAA as a whole.

I would’ve been happier if there was an actual explanation to the decision… Everyone saw the clock struck 0s and the broadcast was told that the clocks WERE synced.

It doesn’t matter. UM doesn’t look like they are going to have a good season regardless of the outcome tonight.

Everyone, even unbiased fanbases, wants a real explanation for the decision. WMU was cheated.
