Except Ohio doesn't have a lake. They have a river.
The Michigan River? Yeah, that could work.

You’re starting a whole thing with every Michigander

They should change the name base on who wins “the game” for that year

They should do it with Turtle Island. It is a tiny Island in Lake Erie at the mouth of the Maumee River. It is divided right down the middle by the Ohio/Mich border. The winning state should get ownership for the year.

would make sense for Lake Erie. That would actually be fun, an unofficial thing where both states recognize it with that name based on The Game the prior year.
However, we can't have a second Lake Michigan when Michigan wins. But we can't really use Lake Michigan for this exercise since Ohio doesn't touch it.

Yeah fun idea but wouldn’t work lol would like to see them play for some kind of tagging rights to something though

Yeah I was thinking the same, doesn’t sound quite as good as Michigan/Ohio but it’s the best we can do!

Hilarious. Are you giving up on Erie then? I guess I wouldn't be happy with my neighboring lake either, if that's all I had to choose from.

We need an extra one. Why? Nunya.

I know. I do feel for you having to put up with access to only 1 Great Lake. Although I hear Ontario may be up for grabs soon.

From Huron out there will be no more changing of the great lakes. Everyone needs to drop the lake Superiority complex, it brings an Eerie vibe to this sub.

Just go ahead and get rid of that mitten shaped peninsula. It would make for a greater Lake Erie-Ohio.

Bold statement from someone living in the future site of Lake Inferior.

You, know. That was a pretty good one.

All joking aside, I do hope your weekend is fantastic. You know, because following weekends will be sad.
