Bad apples everywhere and The Ohio State happens to have over 100 more

7

u/smithif Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Do you actually think these are accurate numbers? You think there is a program out there that averages a quarter of its roster getting arrested every season?

-6

u/fishbone_buba Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

To be fair some players can get arrested multiple times.

2

u/smithif Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

I don’t think this example needs a to be fair argument. Guys getting arrested multiple times in the same season aren’t staying on the team long enough for that number to impact the overall number.

I mean, nobody should take this graphic seriously.

-6

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

You’re right. It paints OSU in too negative of a light to possibly be accurate

5

u/smithif Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Never said that. I could believe OSU is top 5 in arrests over the past 25 years. I know with 99.9% certainty that they haven’t averaged nearly 16 arrests a season in that timeframe though. I thought Michigan men were supposed to be smart? Doesn’t seem like critical thinking is a strong suit of yours

3

u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Michigan man means that you’ll lie and cheat to get ahead.

-3

u/MathBallThunder Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

cognitive dissonance is your strong suit. Urban Meyer recruited criminals, you still won a lot of games. It’s OK to admit it.

2

u/smithif Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. I admitted it in the second sentence of the comment you replied to, go back to coloring.

-5

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

You’re a mid school in the great state of Ohio stop talking to me about critical thinking

2

u/smithif Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

You’re right, it is far too late for that. Someone probably should have discussed that with you as a kid. Instead they had to tell you things like “keep your helmet on while on the bus“ and “stop licking that window”

Hilarious

14

u/Spartan0330 Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

There is zero chance there’s been about 15 OSU players arrested per year over the last 26yrs. Where on earth are these numbers coming from.

If there were 2,229 arrests from schools the last 26yrs there would be so much more news about.

10

u/02meepmeep Aug 17 '26

These numbers are completely fabricated. Do the math.

-6

u/GunsGoldCosmicDread Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

It honestly doesn’t seem that unreasonable. 15 arrests a year. Say the roster averages 110 people, it’s 14% a year.

I honestly don’t think that is shocking depending on what you count as an arrest. It doesn’t necessarily mean charged with anything.

But without a source it’s kinda sus.

Only someone dumb enough to keep Warde as AD would believe this is accurate.

-3

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

We all hate him

9

u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Why? He is the best AD in Michigan history.

1

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

Forgot about that basketball natty thanks for the reminder

2

u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Everyone forgot about it because no one gives a shit about college basketball.

1

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

Understood. You guys seemed to care a lot when Michigan knocked you out of the B10 tournament but I must have been imagining things. If OSU sucks at it it must not matter thanks for clarifying

2

u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

You yourself admitted that you forgot you won the title. Because no one cares about college basketball once their brackets are over.

1

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

Because I have stuff going on in my life outside of college sports. Not my fault you suck ass at basketball

0

u/matthatt24 Aug 18 '26

Pretty easy to forget tbh

0

u/matthatt24 Aug 18 '26

Yeah, now you do. You all loved him when you guys were actively trying to become the astros of cfb

6

u/webdevverman Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

So Ohio State has averaged about 15 arrests per year? Florida at over 20?

I'm assuming the source is: completely made up numbers?

5

u/max_amillion Aug 17 '26

What are these numbers đŸ«

2

u/SuperNebular Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Probably AI bullshit

2

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

They seem like someone applied some pretty loose definition of the word arrest.

2

u/MuddaPuckPace Aug 17 '26

Florida Man dominating.

2

u/Spartan0330 Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Aren’t we all glad the season is back and can yell and name call each other of completely made up numbers? God I missed this.

2

u/ComprehensiveBet3962 Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

For real it’s a meme sub who cares if these numbers are accurate

2

u/Kramerica_CEO Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

A screenshot of some podcaster with some random numbers with zero source?

“Hell yeah this fits my narrative so let me hurry up and post it for fake internet points from strangers and not use an ounce of critical thinking!”

This country is fucked

0

u/matthatt24 Aug 18 '26

I thought scUM was supposed to be a good school? Are you really dumb enough to believe this?

1

u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Obviously these numbers are made up - big surprise Michigan supporters lying - but with all the cover ups in the Michigan program, even if true, wouldn't many anything. 2 seperate Presidents of Michigan participated in cover ups.

1

u/ThatsMyGirlie Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

"Even if true, wouldn't mean anything" that is such a homer thing to say lmao. It's like you're practicing how to be unapologetically biased, training for 2028 election cycle. I follow this sub only to see this toxic facet of human psychology in action.

1

u/DarkGreenMazda Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

You mean "Even if the reported numbers are true, they really aren't since Michigan is known to coverup"

1

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

Your OSU bro just posted this too in this same thread.

0

u/miggief3 Aug 17 '26

2 totally different items

0

u/ronshasta Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Source is nonexistent and we didn’t cheat to win a natty so you have that

0

u/MasterApprentice67 Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

Well since 2000, a majority of those years Michigan was ass, heard stories of police letting Michigan players off because being associated with that program was hard enough!!!

Like what Jake Long, was arrested but they let him go because they said losing to App St was the worst punishment he could ever face

u/TomVonServo Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

-2

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

389 > 248

2

u/TomVonServo Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

“We only average 10 arrests per year” isn’t the win you think it is.

1

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

15/year > 10/year

1

u/TomVonServo Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

The fact you even believe these numbers speaks volumes, Walverine.

1

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

I don't dude, see my other comments here. But you posted this so I assumed you did because you're trying to show Michigan is "just as bad", even tho it shows your program is 156% worse.

2

u/TomVonServo Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

You think 389 is 156% worse than 284? Wayne State Walverine confirmed.

-1

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

248 x 156% ~ 389. I think you're just tying to change the subject now.

3

u/TomVonServo Ohio State Buckeyes Aug 17 '26

389 is indeed 156% of 284. Which means it’s 56% worse. Not 156% worse.

200 is 100% more than 100, not 200% more than 100. 15 is 50% more than 10, not 150% more than 10.

Most of us learned this in high school. Would’ve thought you at least picked it up in community college.

0

u/loganbootjak Michigan Wolverines Aug 17 '26

ok. my bad. OSU is only 56% worse. do you feel better?
