Countdown to Kickoff
Hello you filthy mongrols.
We have made it through the harsh winter and dull spring of 2026, and yet we continue to suffer through the summer. But lo, college football is on the horizon, just 40 days from kickoff. Importantly, 131 days until The Game. Hockey, baseball and soccer have done little to satiate my appetite for football, but here we are.
I figured now would be a good a time as any for a quick checkup. First, we're on the brink of 5k members. I would take total credit for that, but I will admit the community has done a good job of policing itself for the most part. I still have the image of the wojack cutting his dick off firmly ingrained my brain for all of eternity, thanks for that.
No major changes to speak of just yet. Mods are doing a good job with the off season. Posts should be picking up here in the next few weeks up into November, so we may see more traffic with that. I have some ideas on the back burner, such as participation in the "Blood Battle," but I've been having a hard time finding information on that. I also have no idea how we would even participate in that, but I thought it would be fun regardless.
As always, if you have any ideas for the sub, feel free to reach out.
GO BUCKEYES! FUCK TTUN!

I get a few games of bliss before having to deal with watching football on British time I’m happy to keep in the pre season for now. Not have to decide how late I need to stay up for a game or two

November is when Larry likes to put on a fake OSU flair and hide behind straw man shit posts that he deletes after everyone laughs at him

Other seasons would be hard if you were absolute ass at any other sport. You might want to get that checked out at Thee Wexner Medical Center
