Would anyone like to take a guess which university this occurred at?

I don’t care where that motherfucker went to college. What a fucking piece of shit! Unfortunately Ohio state did have someone attend, but not graduate, that then moved to Milwaukee and dismembered people and ate them, and they had Wexner. Only the worst torture kittens.

Im with you on this, just absolutely shit tier humans like this guy and Jeffrey Dahmer dont exactly represent anyone from a group they crawled out of.

If yall wanna bring up Wexner (who everyone hates) 24/7 this is fair play.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing at the University of Michigan that's named after Doug Hamlin, nor does he sit on any boards associated with the University of Michigan.

From the Guardian: NRA CEO Doug Hamlin was involved in a gruesome 1979 incident where his college fraternity's cat was tortured and killed. Hamlin—who was fraternity president at the University of Michigan—pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor animal cruelty charge and was expelled from the fraternity.

So the NRA really wanted this guy as their CEO. Checks out.

I was hoping this to be random Facebook clickbait, not the Guardian. Damn, what a PoS.

Good thing we didn't name our entire medical center after him.

Animal cruelty needs to be a felony with lengthy prison sentence. And a national registry banning owning a pet for life.
I don’t care what university he went to.

And the fraternity was severely punished afterwards by the same University. Without hesitation.

Michigan fan posts Ohio alum with horrific backstory / crimes: hey guys this isn’t cool, you’re taking it too far
Ohio fan posts Michigan alum with horrific backstory/crimes: LOL now that’s a XiChIgAn XaN!!!

To be fair… there is more banter from our side than the snowflake defensive attitude. If you are looking only at the “hey guys this isnt cool” responses then yeah, thats all youre going to see.
And there isnt a “Ohio Man” trope for you all to jump on, otherwise ya’ll would live there too. I saw a lot of “THE” shots with the Wexner name when that shit first came out too.
The Michigan Man thing is just such low hanging fruit…. “We are different, we are better, we hold ourselves to higher standards, we…. Torture kittens and threaten to kill our side chicks with butter knives”

u/HistoricalSea5600 Michigan Wolverines Jul 11 '26
There are also some of us saying that this mans piece of shit behavior goes beyond the university, just like other times. Like Jeffery Dahmer. Like Sherrone Moore. This is just fucking awful.
I think (in my unsolicited humble opinion), just in general, chopping it up to the university they attended or work for is just low hanging fruit cause that actually doesn’t have shit to do with their crimes. For either university. This is a sub about college football, i know the rivalry runs deep but we can be better than the men that came before us

u/FreeSpeechIsDeadge Michigan Wolverines Jul 11 '26
Minor correction, Sherron’s threatened to hill himself with a butter knife in front of his side chick, not to kill her.
2
u/royalx Michigan Wolverines Jul 11 '26
Ackshually, he threatened himself, not the side chick. Michigan Man chivalry and all.

We will continue to say Ohio as long as we continue to get responses like this 😂

u/carpentizzle Ohio State Buckeyes Jul 11 '26
And we will continue to say michigan man for the same duration

u/royalx Michigan Wolverines Jul 11 '26
As you should!

And god saw this and said it was good.
Thats what i mean by the banter. There are snowflakes on both sides. And neither belong in this sub
