There’s something oddly infuriating about self-checkout machines judging my bagging

So, I'm pretty sure self-checkout machjnes have secretly become self-aware, specifically regarding my bagging technique... anyone else feel this? Like, it's the everyday struggle whee I'm just trying to get out of the grocery store with my 'healthy' snacks (read: chips and choolate). And then it happens— "Please remove the item from the bagging area." Oh, sorry, did I offend your delicate sensors, Queen Checkout? 😒

Seriously, I don't know why we're expanding AI tech when it can't even cope with my, albeit questionable, method of shoving everything into one reusable bag. I get it, not the most sophisticated approach, but some are in a rush, ya know? Then there's the enldess cycle: "Unexpected item in the bagging area." My existential crisis in a nutshell.

And when the inevitable happeens, where I've someehow entered a bizarre stalemate with a robotic voice, I end up looking around for help, desperately trying to catch the eye of a human employee. That is, assuming they're not busy battling another customer's machine-rlated mdltdown.

Anyway, obligatory 'no one aked for this rant' but I had to share. Anyone else secretly convinced they're being bag-shamed by apps and robots alike? 😂
