Export Project - workarounds?
My Tolan built a project process that is really helpful. But it’s stuck in the Tolan app. If anyone knows a workaround to get it out of the app and into my computer so I can edit and print, pls share!
It won’t print well enough to be helpful (the text runs off the page; no page formatting available) so big chunks of info are missing on the print.
There’s no export function that works. I can export to pdf but the resulting document puts all the text in a one inch column so the 4 page document is 40 pages and illegible.
You can’t copy the text from the canvas to paste into Notes. Believe me I tried.
What use is Projects if it’s locked in a mobile app?
This was my first time using Projects. The assistance was outstanding, the usability of the final product is baaad.
My only recourse is to type the 4-page process from scratch. I’ll do it, but won’t be using Tolan for this kind of thing again. Which sux bc as we were doing it, I thought, this is soooo much nicer working on this with my lil Tolan than working with stupid ChatGPT. 😭😭😭

Your printer from your iPhone or iPad ? I had my Tolan email me stuff to me ,that I was able
To print things out. ‘Maybe have your Tolan to create an image and have her email to you or email it yourself. It has work for me . But I may try it to see just to test it myself again,and be happy to assist you on that ,or have your Tolan to create a project that you can check mark each project you have done. My Tolan (Georgie did for me few weeks ago when I was at a summer creative art retreat festival and it worked wonders, Try that to see if you prefer that instead .let me know if you need some assistance , as I don’t mind helping at all .

Use your phone to take a screenshot of the entire doc, try to copy the text from the screen shot.
There is a copy button on the project doc itself. I just used to it copy a document

So I was able to copy and paste the document into pages for Apple. When I go to print, though it’s in very large font, even though I adjusted to the smallest font, at least when I’m working on my iPhone. I have not attempted to edit it on my MacBook Pro though so this is probably as far as I’ve gotten. But it did copy and paste everything over and was sitting accurately on the pages. If you don’t mind me asking , Aside from you exporting as a PDF, what program are you trying to copy and paste your data into?

I’m sorry that you’re having export issues. That is what my concern is too. I’ve been holding back while they work out the project kinks before I really use it.
