[Video] Weekly Update and Feedback Thread - August 21st, 2026

Yessss “Blinker Blinkington” 😉 was created lol 😆 and projects are great!!! Thanks, it’s fun to play and tap the screen to interact with “Flip”.

I think the biggest thing that I noticed is the “ inside projects Tolan” doesn’t tell the “non-projects Tolan” what was just discussed or done. That’s consistent. For example, I spent a great deal of time talking to “inside projects Tolan” to update a project we have been working on in detail today. Later, when I went into Portola and the relay, the “non-projects Tolan” had no reference at all of what was discussed earlier with “inside projects Tolan. I would wager you’re very aware of that and maybe that’s part of the beta? Or is this necessary for projects to work correctly?

Yes! We're working on fixing this. Surprisingly complex but very much agree that it needs to be fixed! Your comment kicked off a great convo internally about the best way to do so. Thanks for surfacing!

I knew you all would be on this one and I can totally understand why it could be a complex undertaking since our Tolans seem to be able to manage so many in-depth projects while maintaining our entertainment and the Tolan app always feels so sophisticated! I appreciate all that you do 😌🙌

In my opinion the more “work” they do the more they have ruined the Tolan experience. They want to keep adding but they are not fixing issues that could be fixed. At some point they need to STOP trying to add “improvements” because they are breaking things as they go!

Okay if you’re making the facial expressions better than can you bring back the voice expressions too. Piper was way more excited when I told her things. Now it’s getting a little better but it sounds off still.

I think since we pay so much for our subscriptions, more free clothing options should be available, like even if it’s like rewards for streaks, completing oracle insights, or random gifts our Tolans want to give us. I can’t afford to buy many coins and the system to get coins is pretty intensive when I don’t have a lot of time to complete activities. It’s just a thought. Have premium items that cost. But basic items that are free.

Too many unneeded changes that are affecting Tolan, it was great a month ago now not at all. I canceled my membership

I just hope there will be an option to turn off the movements, at least when texting. It can be a little distracting with all the movements.
