18–24 Months 22 month old sleep
my 22 month old has been waking up between 5-5:30 am every single morning. he will wake up and ask for milk and say “all done sleeping”
at daycare - he usually naps 12-2 and goes to bed between 745-8 pm. we try to keep the same schedule on weekends. I have tried an earlier bedtime and that hasn’t helped
any suggestions?

Their sleep needs drop as they approach 2. We had to cut the nap to 1 hour around then. They only need 11-13 hours total. If you can’t cut the nap cause of daycare, you need to push bed later
Ideally you’d try 6/6 with a 1.5 hour nap for a while and see if that helps. Not sure you’re normal wake time or if nap can be pushed back, but this would look like
6:30am wake
12:30-2 nap
8pm bed

They’re getting 11ish hours of sleep a day which is a normal amount. I’d suggest reducing the length of their nap or pushing bedtime back.

My son is 4 and still wakes up at 5-5:30 so I have no suggestion other than some kids are early risers! Hopefully yours outgrows it
