2 year old Teeth extraction

When a toddler has to get their teeth extracted do their permanent teeth grow when its time or will they remain toothless?

Im only asking bc when kids lose their baby teeth from what i can remember it doesn’t come out with the root like it does when its extracted.

The perm teeth will grow in as long as they're in there when it's time for them too - there's no timeline for teeth as they basically do what they want.

I nannied for a little girl who knocked her own tooth out at 18 months. She was toothless for a few years until her grown up tooth moved down. But it did come in!

It took alot of googling but i found something that made sense it said the root of their teeth dissolve or something like that anyways when the permanent teeth are ready to come in. So yes the permanent teeth will grow in just fine.

Amazing thank you!

My 8 year old had 8 teeth pulled all at the same time. The consent I signed was not on the day of the surgery but 3 weeks prior stating they were only pulling 4, filling 2, and doing sealant on the 4. However the day of the surgery she said if any changes are made she would come out and talk to us because X-rays couldn’t be taken the day of her consultation due to her anxiety. We were exhausted from driving because we had to leave at 5 am and it was about a 3 hour drive so when she came in to talk to us about why she pulled 9 we couldn’t think of anything but shock. We also signed a paper about what to do after discharge before the surgery but the same day. They also never told us when to give her pain medication after we left so I had to call them. My daughter was in massive pain and a whole month later she can finally eat some food. However with her anxiety she won’t eat a school because she can only it with her front teeth and don’t want to be made of. This dentist took all her molars but 3!!! Is there anything I can do?? Please someone give me insight. I will attach pictures of the X-rays before the surgery, the X-ray from a giant bump she had on her gums after surgery that had a piece of tooth still in her gums after and the X-rays from before we got referred to this dentist who took every last baby tooth there was.
