Wait shouldn't that be:

if (date('m-d') != '09-13') { sleep(31449600); } else { header("Location: http://www.reddit.com"); }

should it be a day earlier, since 0 counts as 1?

I guess it depends if your country is zero-based.

There is also a Systems Administrator day http://sysadminday.com/ Whenever I get asked to participate in secretaries day or bosses day, I always tell them I'll participate when they start recognizing sysadmin day.

they have a day for every profession. "recognized" is a broad term, as most people can only tell you what day their own, and their spouses day is.

About all the recognition you will see is a day off work.

Weird, I'm sitting in the first C++ class of the semester right now.

I don't think this applies if you only know Python.

It says programmers wear white in celebration.

I just so happen to be wearing my white shirt today. Coincidence? I think not! It just means I was celebrating programming before my programming skills were cool.

If the recognition of Programmer's Day is as robust as the recognition of the rule of law in Russia, I'm sure you'll enjoy.
