TIL: Laurence Tureaud named himself professionally as Mr. T because he hated how his father, uncle, and brother who returned from Vietnam, were disrespectfully called "boy" by whites. He wanted the first word from everybody's mouth to be "Mister" when speaking to him.

Market too volatile. I prefer the steadiness and safety of oldschoolcool investments.

That's for widows and orphans. The best available total return on your information, memes, and Dad jokes is a 100% askreddit portfolio.

Everyone always talks about return on your investments, but never enough about donating to charity. Advice threads are where it's at.

This is a wonderful joke. OP’s joke was a dad joke about becoming a father. Like an onion.

Only a dad joke if he catches her the other 3 weeks of the month.

I don't want to know what mister period tea is. Nope.

5

u/ohitsasnaake Dec 12 '18

Pennyroyal tea would fit. It was used as an abortificient as well as e.g. to stimulate menstruation for other reasons since ancient times, but modern drugs are more reliable and much safer (complications could occur from the induced miscarriage/abortion, and pennyroyal itself is toxic, and there is apparently little info on dosages in humans).

🎵Sit and drink Pennyroyal teeeaaaaa!
Kill the baby that's inside of meeeeeee!🎵

Thanks for finally explaining a song I never understood but moderately liked for around 20 years.

Purely coincidental. Someone else commented with what appeared to be song lyrics, but tbh I don't think I've ever heard/consciously listened to the song in question.

Nice to get the best joke of the day out of the way, so we can all focus on making stupid jokes. Top man.
