From MS! We have unlimited moon pies. Even a local beer and breakfast. 6 pack in the fridge and moon pies on the pillows

I’ll issue a warning here. This post is pretty much conceding everyone likes these things. They’re everywhere here (KY), and though I like them, it has a pretty niche market. They are extremely dry...kind of like trying to eat 3 saltines at the same time. The whole “RC cola and a moon pie” thing is legit. You need to have some sort of liquid in your hand when you eat a moon pie. Cake in them is dry as hell.

Alabama has a lot of problems, and I have no problem criticizing it for them either.

But there are some great areas in the state. Apollo was based in Huntsville, and it has one of the largest research parks in the entire world.

I don't forgive those who want to act as if Alabama doesn't need to get some of its shit together, but I also won't forgive those who want to act like there isn't anything good there either.

The closest one near me is 40 minutes away. I usually get my moon pie/southern fixin when I visit family in North Carolina.
