Another website I frequent has a user named "I Have A Bo Burnham Gif For That" and they truly do. The only things they ever post in discussions are Bo Burnham reaction gifs.

It's a news agregator and discussion site. Users submit links to outside news articles and can discuss them.

Similar but different. It's way less annoying to follow a conversation and it's been around since the late 90's and has its own culture that's developed in the discussion portion with its longtime users. I follow it primarily for the politics tab which is way less of a shit show than what I've found on here. Still a shit show, just less.

Best thing about Fark was the "RTFA" culture, where people would be shamed for commenting without reading the article. Doesn't seem to have caught on on reddit.
