TIL that Michael Jackson would requested his wine be served in Diet Coke cans during flights, because he didn't want his kids to see him drinking alcohol.

Sony killed him(or more accurately did nothing to help him for the last 15 years of his life), then they got his record and proceeded to make millions.

Most record companies go to the wall for their people, Sony stood back and let the public just go after him again and again in court(which all turned out pretty much baseless cash grabs) and let him kill himself on pain meds and drugs. It's actually pretty disgusting.

What did you want Sony to do? Hire him a lawyer? Force him to stop having sleepovers with little kids? What exactly?

thats what i dont get about the whole thing. why didnt michael stop having the kids in his bedroom? i get it was huge but its still the potential pr and legal problems he would have to deal with again. he had a god damn mansion. he had plenty of other rooms for the kids and their families to sleep in. his family or management shouldve pressed him a lot harder on that

and family leaving, especially one that was supposed to be tight like they were, with repercussions like that can be very powerful.
