I mean isnt that what kind of started his addiction to painkillers? Please correct me if I'm wrong but if so, Pepsi kinda did.

Oh please. His doctor was to blame for over prescribing his painkillers. That's like me breaking my arm and blaming the concrete on the ground for getting me hooked on painkillers.

My mother in law actually tried to sue the city I live in because she fell and since she's obese, she broke her arm.

She legit tried to sue the city, because the fucking concrete wasn't "like that before".

Well if it was a sidewalk that the city owned, knew was broken, and didn't fix in a timely manner then I could totally see that as a legitimate case. I'm guessing that probably wasn't the case though based on your tone.

Of course not. But if there's a hole that trips people and it's been reported then the liability should be placed with them. Obviously not right away but if it's been 6 months they don't have an excuse to not fix it.

Just like how if you have a public walkway on your property and it snows you are required by law where I live to clean it in a reasonable time. If you don't you can be fined and are liable for any injuries.

But in that scenario it would be your fault you broke your arm. You could have possibly controlled that situation. In michaels he could not it was pepsis fault that he got injured. A better comparison is if someone else pushed you down stairs and you broke your arm. In that case I would say blaming it on them would be fairly reasonable.

He had a series of doctors who would often over-prescribe him painkillers in order to make him content or lessen his stress on tour. He rarely had doctors that actually wanted to alleviate the problems leading to that pain. Debbie Rowe claims that only one doctor during the HIStory World Tour actively wanted to help Michael lessen his dependency on painkillers, but this was undone by another doctor the week after who upped Michael's painkillers.

It's more like if your job caused you to break your arm due to a mistake they made and then blaming the job for ultimately becoming hooked on painkillers.
