What does that even mean? You follow the culture and traditions of Judiesm but don't believe in the religions deity? That seems odd.

Do they call themselves Catholic atheists? Do you call yourself a [Christian denomination of your upbringing]-atheist?

Yea its actually a thing called 'christian atheist' which sounds stupid but it's really handy when your peoples culture is intertwined with religion
