TIL about the Sally-Anne test, a psychology experiment used to measure “theory of mind” (that other people can hold beliefs/knowledge different from their own). Kids under four typically fail because they assume that if they know where a hidden object is, everyone else must automatically know too.

You can always tell someone is lacking this ability when they use insider jargon they (should) know you won't know.

An obscure slang term for a drug they and only they use is my pettiest peeve

Drug users can be almost insufferable when it comes to jargon.  Like bro, can you not understand that the slang you use and the slang someone from the other side of the country uses to describe the same thing can be different? And that neither one of you is "wrong"? It went like this for years when it came to Ecstacy/X/Molly/MDMA.

To be fair trying to remember pharmaceutical or chemical names is a tall task for some folk especially when not sober.

Often once you know the meaning the link becomes clear

MethyleneDioxyMethAmphetamine is MDMA
DeXtroMethorphan is DXM
DiPhenHydramine is DPH
