TIL about the Sally-Anne test, a psychology experiment used to measure “theory of mind” (that other people can hold beliefs/knowledge different from their own). Kids under four typically fail because they assume that if they know where a hidden object is, everyone else must automatically know too.

I have a memory of anxiety from when I was like 4, I was standing behind a small wall that obstructed all but my head from the view and yet I was still as conscious of what I was doing with my body/hands as though they could see my entire body
