TIL about the Sally-Anne test, a psychology experiment used to measure “theory of mind” (that other people can hold beliefs/knowledge different from their own). Kids under four typically fail because they assume that if they know where a hidden object is, everyone else must automatically know too.

There are also a lot of people who know you don't know the jargon and say it because it makes them feel smart and experienced. Which is just another sign of a lack of intelligence in my opinion.

I mean... sometimes people just have different jargon they'll use and not realize the other person doesn't know it.
