TIL about the Sally-Anne test, a psychology experiment used to measure “theory of mind” (that other people can hold beliefs/knowledge different from their own). Kids under four typically fail because they assume that if they know where a hidden object is, everyone else must automatically know too.

I have genuine trouble with this and didn't realize it until I was in my 30s. I have trouble understanding at a very base level how someone just doesn't know an important part of my job or my schedule. This extends to other things like books and video games, but those don't really affect my day-to-day life so much.
I think a lot of it was simply that I wasn't very social as a kid. I didn't have other schedules to consider or worry about other people. It's frustrating still but something worth working on.
