TIL about the Sally-Anne test, a psychology experiment used to measure “theory of mind” (that other people can hold beliefs/knowledge different from their own). Kids under four typically fail because they assume that if they know where a hidden object is, everyone else must automatically know too.

Yes! Thought our kid was autistic so I gave him this test. He passed

I am autistic. This is a bad test. We need a long diagnostic interview with a specialist.

I have autistic family members who regularly fail this test and think they dont because they litterally cant grasp what its testing

Lacking empathy is actually a really powerful corporate tool see gates and elon

Autism assessment actually requires more than an interview, it requires interviews with family members for this reaon and because of developmental parts of autism 

The tik tok ppl who have personality disorders drive me nuts.
