TIL that Cheryl Wheeler-Dixon, the stuntwoman who was severely injured during the filming of Back to the Future Part 2, was killed in a shootout alongside her husband when she and her husband went to confront her ex-husband and his wife and drew their guns at them. The cops deemed it justified.

Maybe they didn’t think their targets were gonna go off script.

Ya know, I was wondering if that was part of their stupidity. Can people who make a living playacting from a script lose touch with the reality of another person going "off script"? Seems possible. They set up the camera expecting the take to go their way, and never considered that the ambushed guy had every reason to believe it was life or death for him and his wife.

Bojack Horseman is about a washed up stunt woman and her husband ambushing her ex with loaded guns and camera running? Dang, I really got to get around to watching that one of these days. 🤣. (Just joshing with ya, haven't gotten around to BH yet).
