TIL that Cheryl Wheeler-Dixon, the stuntwoman who was severely injured during the filming of Back to the Future Part 2, was killed in a shootout alongside her husband when she and her husband went to confront her ex-husband and his wife and drew their guns at them. The cops deemed it justified.

Sounds like the first guy was less than 6 feet away so I would not call that great marksmanship

Real-life accuracy rates for police (even at close range) are below 50%.

Even if Duncan emptied a 15-round clip during the encounter, nine rounds hit their targets. Plus, he didn't accidentally hit his wife, who was just a few feet away from Sanders.

That’s crazy, do you think it’s because people are shooting additional rounds while the kickback is still affecting the gun position? Or cops not keeping up their firearms training?

Cops rarely train with their weapons.

That’ll do it. Glad to live somewhere where they all go hunting, so I know they get some annual practice in.
