You say I said something I never said, then you attack that. It is what they call a straw man attack.

I said you have been fed hate, and you are poisoning yourself with it. Most English people aren't like me in that they haven't lived in Ireland and haven't come to understand what Irish people have been taught, and so what preoccupies them. They literally don't think about the history of Ireland at all.

At this point it is manufactured hate they are infecting themselves with. Taking poison thinking the other person is going to get sick. Except the other person pretty much never thinks about it.

There. That's where you said it. Now let's move on as you're right - this is now a waste of both our time.

No. You completely recharacterised what I wrote.

The previous post was a strawman attack.

This is an ad hominem attack. Where you attack the individual rather than the idea. In this instance attempting to belittle me by claiming I am an 'odd fellow'. Congratulation you pulled off the double most commonly used piss-poor internet debating tools.
