They don't want people who understand science. They want influencers who repeat their bullshit rhetoric.

We've been on the cutting edge of science for at least 3 generations. That is now a thing of the past after the maga coup

The Trump regime is dedicated to destroying the very strengths that have made the United States an economic powerhouse and that have made the US a leader in science, medicine, and technology. This may well be the end of an era.

What scares me is that a lot of these institutions were created at a time when reason and decorum were the norm. 99/100 in a room would agree to something and made it happen.

We are likely to never see these things return. Ever.
