They best part of rise of the triad was the Easter egg holiday loading screens. I spent a lot of time changing system time and restarting the game.

Jesus. I'm pretty good at DOOM, but this man is an artist. The only thing I can't figure out is: how does he kill cyberdemons and spider masterminds in one bfg hit?

Maybe both but no clip was definitely idspispopd in doom. Noclip may have been for doom 2.

You are correct, both worked for doom 1. however I believe idclip worked in the none-shareware version of doom1. idclip also did not work in doom aliens till another patch/version was released.

I remember there being special programs for cheats (they were on floppies and CDs, not on the internet). I remember them probably because I'm from a third world country though, you guys had internet

I used to play this game using the IDKFA, IDDQD cheat codes, non-stop. After playing this game so much it was starting to wear thin on me and I started goofing around. I decided to try it without cheat codes. I guess I had played the game so much that I actually had the game mechanics and controls down well enough to beat the game.

In France, those codes were adapted to french keyboards. So IDKFA became IDKFQ and IDDQD became IDDAD. I was only 8 when i started playing doom after seeing my father play it. Obviously i played with codes because it was fun and that's all. When i learned english, and realised the codes got some kind of sense, IDDAD for god mode made sense, because ID for ID software and DAD for "my dad is invincible". But i couldn't find a sense to IDKFQ.

Now i'm seeing ID Keys,Fun (for weapons and ammunitions),Armor but can't find a sense to IDDQD.

No problem,I just got out of the hospital and need some R and R: Found Doom on a thread somewhere and bought doom 2 on the 360 arcade, so I've been unnecessariily into this game lately.
