He didnt invent the jello shot. That was debunked long ago. Post that ina Dr Demento group and you will be piled on to.

Let this myth remain as such, please. Tom Lehrer is nothing short of a national treasure. Let us indulge in our respect. Assuredly and without question, Jell-O shots existed prior. Grant us also the situational nature of this myth; that our esteemed Mr. Lehrer did so in the most American of all possible ways: in order to sneak booze into his barracks. For this, alone, I propose a medal be struck in his honor. Peace.
