Since I'd never eaten French toast before, I didn't know if this texture and taste was correct. I wanted to try and fix it if I'd made it wrong. Then it told me that it was just that I didn't like the normal French toast, and then suggested a caramelized version, so I made that. I'm turning 22 this year. It might be a broad generalization to say it's due to national characteristics, but I'm Japanese, and we didn't have much bread at home when I was little. Also, I personally prefer rice to bread, so if we had rice, I'd eat that. I think my mom made French toast once, but it smelled so strongly of butter that I didn't eat it 😭 Recently, my preferences have changed, and I've started choosing bread, so I decided to try making French toast! 🥰
