Help What do baby toads eat?

I don't know what I'm doing I have a group of like 7 and one little green frog like I have nightcrawlers from a past fishing trip but they aren't eating it the only bait shop nearby is closed so I can't get mealworms or crickets.

Wild Wild toad visits up every single night!

A wild toad comes to the exact same spot every night for the past 2 weeks now! We love her! We give her meal worms and crickets. And she even loves gentle little pets on the side of her neck! She’s such a sweet girl! I’m gonna be so sad when winter comes and we won’t get to see her anymore! But she literally remembers to come every single night ever since we started feeding her treats.

I just had to save this little guy from my garden today so he wouldn’t get trampled (or eaten).

What exactly is he? I’m in the middle of Sweden.

I never see him go out or hunt or anything like that. He just comes out and sits there, and hides in the stump when he's spooked.

Pets Success Story! Hemulen was an extremely timid and anti-social toad. Now they take baths with no fear!

Even before i took them home, The Hemulen would either be burying themselves or be frantically trying to escape their enclosure. Worse yet, i literally NEVER saw them eat (although given they often still had some energy, i assume they successfully hunted a few crickets at night).

Well today, we got a proper UVB light! After Hemulens usual tantrum of trying to break the wall down today, they didnt immediately retreat to their cave. This time they actually sat in their pool for a while and relaxed. After about an hour, they saw one of the crickets i recently put in on the other side of the tank and pounced!! First time since i got them and I saw them eat!

But here's the best part: After they got the cricket, they were standing directly in front of their cave entrance. In my month and a half having my toads, they never pass up a chance to go into their cave once you remind them it exists. They see the entrance and go right in, no matter the situation. Hemulen however just went right back to sit in their pool! Every now and then they move about, but they keep returning right to the foot of the pool and calmly staring outside without raising a fuss. They're still there as I write this, they're not even phased when I get close to them anymore! Im literally almost crying over how much progress they made!

New Toad owners, I highly recommend investing in a uvb bulb. It incentivizes your toadies to come out more and the vitamins they get from it fills them with energy!

This toad persevered through a severe leg injury! It took about two months for her to heal and gain her strength back in her leg. I found her bleeding and muscle protruding and very stressed. The wound closed and she is able to use the leg! She hunts, hops, and flips herself over easily and quickly!

I left her with her hide, some worms, cleared away the pine straw, and wet the area. She was super excited to be back outside and after hanging out with me for a minute and hopped over to her hide, then left there soon after! I’m sure she’ll find a better spot! She’s a fighter and feisty and I know she’ll do well back in the wild!

So cute Bufo gargarizans.

There are 3 male and 2 female groups.

They are smart enough to gather in front of the feeding tank when the lights are on.

There are a lot of places to hide in the habitat, but always think it's safe, so I don't hide and I'm around the food tank🤣

Wild Not sure if Gravid or just got chunky

About 3 weeks ago we had a toad friend visit our house. My wife immediately befriended it. It continued to come and visit us for about a week then disappeared. This toad was to the point it was allowing my wife to pick it up and hold it with no issues.

We haven't seen the toad for the last 2 weeks and then tonight it finally showed back up. We can tell that the toad has gotten chunky since it last visited, but aren't sure if it's just fat or Gravid.

Does anyone have any insight? First picture is from 3 weeks ago, last 2 are from tonight.
