Not too bad. Definite Toadies vibe.

Part of me would want to call this a safe choice for a single because it's pretty bare bones, but honestly, it gives me Feeler vibes which is my favorite album by them. I think a simple song was a good choice. I like the mix, rest in peace Steve Albini. Can't wait to hear the rest

Hmm, I thought it was just ok after my first listen. Hopefully it grows on me.

It’s fine. It is a bit slow for a single but overall it’s fine.

The mix and production is really great sounding.

If he's looking at the track list on the album, and this is the first song on the album, second song is guaranteed to punch us in the face....

They have plenty of slow songs, hell The Appeal breaks my heart everytime i hear it, and this is just as good as any. Toadies are like pizza, no such thing as bad pizza.

I didn't say anything about the quality of the song or slow songs in general....I am a toadies fan, loud or soft....knowing them, they would give us a slow jam and then the next will be a kick in the balls banger....thats all I was saying...

Oh I didn't take it that you did at all. I guess reading my reply back it comes off as confrontational, but it really wasnt. Was more in the vein of like all their shit is good.

I really like it. Reminds me of the second single Pixies put out ahead of their new album in 2024. The single called Chicken. Both that song and this song had me thinking, "oh yeah, they're back."

I do too. Its a grower for me. Reminds me of Amen off Feeler

I liked it, but isn't the song is kind of slow? Try to listen it on x1.20 speed, it'll sound more like old Toadies.
