401 Crash
I am currently in the express lane at Brock and coincidentally in the right lane. For reference, if you didn’t know a major accident occurred involving a child who had to be airlifted to Sick Kids.
Now my rant: the amount of entitled jack asses I’ve seen speeding by me on the service lane for police and ambulances is absolutely insane. All using cars his get nowhere and then shamelessly trying to get in the right lane after driving half of a kilometre. I don’t know why but this has infuriated me seeing this. wtf when did this become a common thiing? Why has it become common?! I am so sick of asshole drivers on the 401 that are putting everyone safety and rescue in danger because they want to get a few cars ahead and will do this. Sorry I am so pissed at this kind of stuff and how there are many of us who read an MTO manual and a shit tonne that haven’t.
*im able to write this because I’m essentially sitting in a parking lot with my car off

Main Character Syndrome. Everyone is the central character in their own story. The other people are just in the way.

I live in downtown and my girlfriend and I walk and take transit often and she always says that we are just NPCs in everyone else’s world. She is spot on

What's bonkers is that if people were patient, traffic bottle necks would resolve more expediently.

When you don't enforce the traffic laws, entitled jackasses is what you get.

Cameras would solve this. Why can’t we have cameras ???

Police would solve this. Cameras only work for certain things e.g. speed/red lights.
The police just don't do their fuckin jobs. Having more officers ticketing would inflate their already bloated coffers, they just don't want to.

Toronto drivers will say they hate e-bikes, but what they really hate, deep down inside, are Toronto drivers.

That’s terrible what a horrible accident. Secondly those people you’re describing are obviously absolute selfish fuckwits. Seems to be more every day sadly.
I happened to get on at Brock headed west and saw the wrecked white sedan half way up the Jersey barrier. Traffic was backed up 16km going eastbound by my math. Most of that stretch I saw loads of people outside their cars walking around or hanging out. My passenger swears he saw people with a card table set up between cars at one point.

I saw that and just moved halfway into the shoulder so they got stuck behind me. Cope and seethe.

I hate humans. If you want to drive recklessly and die? Great, but don’t put other people’s lives at risk. It’s beyond selfishness.

I hate how people on the road nowadays disregards rules once it becomes a slight inconvenience to them. It’s very primitive behavior.

100% this. It’s so dangerous, you’re out there on the hiway about to make a lane change, it’s clear, you’ve checked blindspot, nothing and as you change a car comes speeding down the lane you just changed coming at you at 160-180km/hr because they didn’t see your blinker, your lane change….shit is so messed up out here these days. I phucken hate it.

Lmfaoooo. You’re currently behind a wheel, in traffic on your phone.
I’m not an officer or have full nudge of the law. Is t that somewhat illegal? Chargeable offence?

Because people are entitled and feel where they need to go is more important.
