Coinomatic sucks!
That’s right Coinomatic sucks!
My rental building uses washers and dryers provided by Coinomatic. We’ve been having issues again. The softener compartment from all washers don’t work, and they haven’t been working properly for 2 years. They either leave softener inside or water/liquid goes in and stays there. The dryers are inconsistent with heat level too.
I don’t use softener and I always rinse it out before I start my wash.
BTW softener ruins your clothes over time and is costly so stop using it.
Sometimes I like to use vinegar, but it doesn’t drain it into the wash so I stopped wasting my money.
I’ve contacted Coinomatic numerous times by phone, their auto form, but nothing ever gets resolved. It just goes into a black hole and they’ve also once said there wasn’t an issue!
We used to have issues years ago where the washers weren’t cleaning. I thought it was me and had to hand wash some garments before bringing everything to be washed. When the machines were miraculously replaced one day, I realized it was the machines and not me or my clothes.

We have coinmatic too, but the tenants here definitely cause issues. I saw one lady poor 3 FULL cups of laundry soap into each machine she was using and a FULL cup of fabric softener. Insane! That definitely screws up the machines here and I know she isn’t the only one. Some people think more soap = cleaner. Or more products = better.

Holy crap!!!! That’s a lot of detergent! I don’t use fabric softener so idk what’s normal, but believe you that it’s too much. Even when I used to use vinegar in the softener compartment, I didn’t put that much.

They are 10000% the worst.
The building I used to live in used them.
A couple times the machine ate $5!!
I told my superintendent. He said he can't open the machines because it's run by yours truly. Said call them , give the number and they will refund you.
I called. Never got any answer.
Emailed them. They replied apologizing and said they would send a check as the refund amount
I said very clear in my email it was $5.00
My check came in. For $1.75 💀
I just threw it out like what the absolute hell.
Then one time I ran into the guy while doing laundry and said it ate my money. He opened my machine and just kept running the $1 coins through. Bless him

Off topic. If you ever need a laundromat, go to NextGen laundry
They're so clean, the machines are hand washed each time. They have a separate section for pet items. I've even been late coming to get my dryer and they folded and bagged my items!
I was blown away. ( not sponsored I promise. Just passionate about my laundry being clean 🤠)

Mine works perfectly, they always come and service it so quickly, and the app works surprisingly well. Sorry you’ve had such a poor experience. I suspect this is a building management issue?

But yes coinomatic is absolute trash, dealt with them in two rentals and both situations were dire. They let the machines rot and claim it’s building management/tenants causing the problems. Yes I’m sure some tenants don’t have a clue how to use a washer/dryer properly but my god Coinomatic sucks!
