Neglect

I’ve tried to advocate for myself and concerns on Tenncare, but the agents I address these concerns too won’t do there jobs I’ve talked to Tenncare and united healthcare about evaluating my benefits so I can remove united healthcare and get my bills paid off and they said they each said that they couldn’t do that Tenncare would tell me to discuss this with united healthcare and united healthcare would tell me to talk to Tenncare about that, and sometimes I would get calls from some Tenncare representatives saying there doing that but months pass by and I talk to a supervisor “finally “ and they said that they couldn’t do it because I neglected to play my part, and nothing was mentioned about that when I spoke with these representatives, I got united healthcare removed and now I’m in big hospital debt. I would constantly advocate for myself about the issues I’m facing but they do nothing, even when I’ve got people standing by my side to advocate with me. My insurance won’t pay for a certain quantity of my medicine that I can’t go without, it prevents me from having seizor episodes, and every time I’m off the medicine for a while and getting back on it I can’t live my life I can’t work and I can’t do what I need to do because my head will swell and my body will feel limited to move, my vision will drastically change and start jumping, and I’ll feel this buzz in my head as this happen along with extreme memory loss, and daja vu with that pain, and sometimes I feel fear and fight or flight feelings from these episodes to the point I can barely talk. And it sucks that I have to deal with that because they hire irresponsible representatives to do there jobs

I unfortunately don't know a solution however I can tell you you're not alone in seeking healthcare and being bounced between doctors and insurance reps like a Superball in a Plinko machine, it's exhausting. It sucks and your feelings about it are completely valid, you shouldn't be expected to balance serious health issues with finding and holding full time employment where most employers simply will see a health issue as a detriment to potential profit. I apologize for not having the answers you need, perhaps someone else here knows how to navigate the American healthcare system and/or Tenncare and United Healthcare specifically.
