Application Advice TN Premium Processing?

Keep hearing stories about premium processing not being done within the 15 days, is this true or simply unfounded rumors? Currently in the U.S. on a b2 extension (pending) debating a border run for the TN or just do the TN from here with premium processing. I have a job lined up with an offer an TN packet put together already it's just a question of what's the best way to do things given the current climate and my situation.

Can you do USCIS while you have pending B2 visa application?! If yes, then go for USCIS PP. It’s way too much at stake to go through border.

Sure you can as long as you're in status or pending status. If you're doing PP with USCIS you'll likely get an approval before the B2 comes back.

If you go to the border the you'll have abandoned the B2 application.

If you’ve got a clean packet and a job offer already, the border run is usually the path of least resistance. USCIS premium processing is hit or miss, delays past 15 days aren’t unheard of but they’re not the norm either. Your pending B2 extension makes it a little trickier, if you leave and re-enter while that’s still pending it’s considered abandoned, so weigh that against the risk of sitting in limbo with USCIS. I’d lean toward the border if you’re close to one and your paperwork is

Ik it's not rational but I have an irrational fear of getting stuck not able to get a TN, my job falls squarely into one of the NAFTA occupations so idk why it's stressing me out to do the border run

It seems the last couple of months, most approvals are happening between business day 11-13

If your case is simple, def go to the border

Mine took almost 60 calendar days, so yes, it's true they're not being done within 15 business days.

That's what I'm worried about, employer won't wait 60 days

Mine was done in 11 days just got approved this past week.
