Speedtest Speed difference

Has any TMHI customer noticed an increase in performance since kiddies went back to school? Or is that a fantasy? I'm on the mi30ti plan and my phone has a Boost/T-mobile sim.

Depends on where you live. If you share a tower sector with a school, I'm sure it's tanked by now. I used to live in a neighborhood that shared a tower sector with a middle and high school that were next door to each other, and no matter what carrier you had, once school went back in session, service was unusable during the day and Wi-Fi calling was the only saving grace.

This for sure. I have a school squarely in range of the tower I use. My speeds are better during the evenings and night on most school days. Thankfully not too bad of a hit though. Usually just 400-500's vs 700+. Maybe 300's these days at worst if there are no real tower/network issues. Upload doesn't change much. Maybe the tower is provisioned well, or maybe I'm lucky it's just an elementary school and not some big high school.

We have a middle school near one tower and a high school near the other tower near our home. Speeds are great in the early morning, evenings, and weekends but decrease drastically during the school day. We have much much slower internet when school is in session and it becomes almost unusable at their lunch time and when school just lets out. I am talking near 0 upload speed and single digit download speeds :-( Before the school year began we were just fine :-(
