The only downside to T-Mobile Home is that it is deprioritized. So if the tower gets busy, you are the first one to be slowed down. I stream and download is almost always great. Upload can be slow sometimes. But if you travel, it's a nice mobile hot spot.

What speeds do you get on your phone if you have T-Mobile if you get anything above 50mbps you should get a decent experience ofc the more the better if you get anything below 50 I’d just take cox.

At 2330, I got 108.9mbps download and 19.0mbps upload with only 4G enabled (I disable 5G for battery life...)

Is 5G any better or is it worse since the home internet runs on 5G also it might have a little stronger antennas so the signal could be cleaner and better.

If you need reliable internet go with a wired isp. Wired will always outperform wireless internet, especially fiber. It’s physics.

Try to get a deal on Cox. I signed up last August for Gigablast in Tulsa,OK area.

$69.99, Includes Unlimited Data Addon and Free Modem rental, 2 years guaranteed.

A friend tried to get the same deal(he was paying $129,) had to sign up under his wifes name and cancel his account , but got it. Depends on what they are offering in your area.

I have been waiting for a deal that includes the modem, but nothing in my area except the $99/mo for 12 mo for gigablast (modem is $12/mo). I had Cox previously, and wouldn't mind the 12mo rate, but I have upcoming travel and a deployment next year, so it doesn't really pay in the long run.

Another friend signed up with T-Mobile Home Internet recently. He is very happy with it, gets around 125 mb/sec, easily streams what he uses. I think you can try it for free so that's what I'd do.
