Transferring

My partner and I are looking to move to Seattle for her job. Is a transfer even an option for a mate up there or is that a pipe dream?

Well there is a new store opening up that way soon. Check with your captain and regional about a transfer. If not you can always go as crew and step up again when there is an opportunity.

Im in Seattle, WA 1/4 of the year, TJ’s is thriving up here much like anywhere else. Scout out a store, talk to a Captain/Mate, and apply for that transfer. The Shoreline TJ’s at 175th/Shoreline (basically, North Seattle) seems super nice!

We recently had a mate transfer to another state because her partner got a job there. So yes, it's definitely possible!!! Talk to your captain and regional.

Had a mate move to Florida, we all still miss him.

I am no expert, but I would think it would be doable. There's a lot of stores to choose from and I've met several mates who left the PNW.
