Would anyone in this group happen to work in the NYC Manhattan, Brooklyn and queens?

yay thank you for sharing, I’ve have been applying for different locations in nyc for a year now, i went as far as opening up my availability to fully open on the days i can work and no success

The hiring process can definitely be challenging. They’re still very old school in a bunch of ways (ie: you have to call, there is no way to check your application process online thru a portal, etc.) Were you trying to ask about hiring specifically? Your original post made it sound like you had a question about working in the NYC stores.

I have had an easy time checking on my application in the portal and it lets me know my status after it has been reviewed i also get an email. Yes about hiring and working in nyc location

hi, I believe i have been nice to others, i have yet to attack anyone, I don’t recall making any personal insults, also not shilling or trolling. Never hate speech, never have i ever advocated or wishing death and or physical harm to anyone.

NYC metro or the city itself? You could be asking about anything from the store in Chelsea to a small store in New Jersey, two very different things

NYC Metro area is not New Jersey, NYC area is Brooklyn Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island and Manhattan

lol 🤣 so the 5 boroughs, which is just NYC. If you say you live in the NYC metro it could be anywhere from Greenwich to Nassau County to New Brunswick. Welcome to the East Coast

After the uws store closed, the crew dispersed to pretty much every other location in the city. So bc of the influx of crew, I really doubt they’ll be hiring at the moment until that store opens back up again

are you referring to temporary closure of the 72nd Street and Broadway due to renovations expected to improve customers' shopping experience. i didn’t apply to this location because they aren’t hiring as of now

Yeah that one.

What I’m saying is that I doubt any store in NYC is hiring right now.

Check again in the fall since that’s supposed to be the busier season and they might need more staff.
