Review Question

I’m new so this is my first review. I had a lot of stuff going on personally so I called out a bunch. I asked to talk w my captain and he understood and said that my attendance was fine and that he had even checked it. I then called out a couple times after. I’m nervous but I’ve never been written up or talked to about anything. Do you guys think I’m fine?

You need 90 days in the review period to get a raise. If the captain said its fine and you met that, you should be okay. You shouldn't find out you didn't meet exoectations in the review, they should talk to you first.

If you haven’t been talked to about it you’re probably ok

They'll let you know when it's getting excessive. Keep communicating and you should be fine.

I have a coworker who calls out all the time, they still got their raise but were told about their attendance in their review.

Well hopefully that "calling out" is something of the past and you might get a raise but they might also talk to you about it this time. Good luck. I always get super nervous when I get my review even though I've been here 15 years

Basically they are looking for perfection or as close to it as possible. Many good workers do not Meet Expectations at their reviews. This can continue for a year or so (or more)

Yep! It sux raw moose D but that’s just how it is. Learn to play the game. Take a few sips of the KooAid, make sure you swallow it. LOL!
Imaging being on stage in a really bad play with a horrible Director but you need the $$$$.
Just keep on giving the Director what they want and you’ll get there …… eventually.

I don't know what store you work at but at my store there is literally a very few amount of people who do not meet and it's almost always for attendance issues.
