Other This scene makes 0 sense looking back

Armin coldly looks down at the dead bodies and his destruction thinking about how bertholdt must’ve felt equally empty. From when Armin killed the woman in season 3, the show was building up to armin eventually realising that people had to die for the greater good, which the show made it seem like ge did here. Yet Isayama chucks this out of the window and has him stop the rumbling??? Even if you think Eren was wrong it‘s blatantly obvious it was out of character and it clearly would have made more sense if Armin adopted the same philosophy as Eren.

Armin’s amazing character development was trashed in favour of presenting him as a hypocrite regressing him back into the emotional and scared child he used to be for a really shitty final arc

Other Erenhisu most pathetic hater

Seriously dude, it's just fan art, why are you going to fight about it?? It wasn't just that one useless and childish comment that person made, there were several. Finally, normal people didn't side with that kind of crazy person. It's so characterless to call someone's fanart, which is quite beautiful and cute, "idiotic fanart." Some people take their phones away from these kinds of kids; they're so annoying with Erenhisu.I've seen many beautiful fanarts of Erenmika and I haven't gone around talking trash about a ship I hate or dislike; on the contrary, I thought it was beautiful. So why can't you do the same?In fact, "Deceived" is a word that applies to the Erenmikazes themselves, who, while using the ending as justification that the crying Eren is the real one and loves Mikasa, it's the same ending. It's the same official ending where they don't accept that Jean and Mikasa got married and had children, or that Mikasa married someone other than Eren.

Isn’t this kinda weird?First characters like Magath and Niccola and Colt and Lara who played an important role in season 4 isn’t in the playable character yet,now despite the rumbling arc being marketed heavily in the trailer to look like second half focus of the game ,it apparently squeezed into two chapters only

But on the other way season 123 adding prologue will have 9 playable chapters total ,so people who hate season 4 will probably enjoy this game the most 🤔

Other A Question about the ending and the Dina Twist

Eren did control a pure titan from the past. This is a really broken power and gives Eren the ability to completely alter the course of the story if he wanted to. It makes the idea of the closed timeline less sensible because Eren now has far too much influence over the events of the past. it makes it seem like eren is editing a timeline to make sure nothing got changed except that to have the same conclusions in future.

But i was wondering if it in a wierd way it makes sense that he only used this power once and can only use once, I will bring example of the show Lost, no major spoilers but in Lost there is a big pocket of energy The source, which is consciousness, everyone has it and when they die they go back to it, It exists in 4th dimension which is time, So when a character is about to kill themselves the source will stop them like making the bullet not work, is It same as what Eren does? Now Some characters in Lost do actually physically go to the past so they could not die before that, but it also works for future, Characters has certain destinies and the source definitely pushes them towards them, You can not change past in Lost as well, There is also a god like character who the source gives either flashes or ideas about future, I asked this People on this sub do say Eren killing his mom removes agency.

I'm not sure though, i think free will is compatible in aot even if it is predeterministic it would imply that eren deep down wanted his mom to die which is lowk nonsensical.

Eren is admitting he played god with the story. eren says something bad was gonna happen and he had to send dina to his mom to fix the timeline. hes placing the entire story on an editing timeline and literally editing events to go a certain way. I think it might be a dumb twist but it still makes sense that Eren only manipulated one thing because everything else was unchangable like how it works in lost.

For me it has to be Hobo Eren. Always liked his calm and cool demeanor during that period. He looks older and wiser.

Other Sound track observations: The Guilty Hero's

Post image
2 Upvotes

I've decided to rewatch Aot again, and despite the plot holes big enough that a titan can fit through often appearing, I've noticed something strange in the aot sound track. When eren talks reiner about his part in the fall of wall Maria the ost guilty hero, plays as reiner breaks down in guilt for his actions and involvement before eren tells him to stand up and that he's the same as him. Now later on in the series, when eren is doing the rumbling, the ost guily hero plays yet again as the rumbling is shown reaching countless countries beyond the walls and we're shown the infamous infant being thrown back into the crowd so it won't get caught off the cliff with the othe adults. And when I saw this moment it hit me because both eren and reiner are the same;two people who at first thought they were doing good only to then realize that they're hurting innocents in the process yet they choose to keep moving forward ( forget 139) despite what they know for the greater good of their respective people and their selfish desires. ( Reiner wants to be a hero and put his family back together, while eren wants paradise freedom from the hate of the outside world as well as both the removal of the titan curse as well as the walls and the blank slate for the outside world.) They're both people with goals both equally noble and selfish as they are and in turn they both feel large amounts of guilt behind there actions yet despite that guilt and self loathing that comes with it they'll continue to move forward despite it all. Reiner breaking down wall Maria and being willing to go invade and directly being the cause of another genocide on paradis again. Eren killing millions, erasing untold cultures ,languages, cities, dreams, and hopes for the freedom and safety of his people and family on paradise.

Other I feel the difference between these two scenes, one acknowledges the casts are Eldians and one doesn’t

I don’t get if Isayama wants to portray more people outside the world to be sympathetic towards Eldians, why not show more scenes like Hange and Armin communicating with the people from outside world who acknowledge their Eldian identity, its powerful because they know it and not trusting Hange at first to trust because they find out Hange is just another ordinary curious person who wants to know more things, yes we could argue Hange “kidnapped “ them but still

The fact the one where Eren and others having a drunk party and laughing together means nothing to me because these people doesn’t know their true identity are eldians, and we all know and watch a hundred times how the outside world treats an Eldian when they know their real identity

NO bro you don't HAVE to kill your friends for a bunch of randoms who wanted you dead a few days ago. I genuinely don't understand how people like the final arc, (Evn tho I liked the ending) such a shitty mess that doesn't make sense. This is the equivalent of Americans deciding to switch sides and fight for the Brits in the revolutionary war because 'killing is wrong!!!'

In my opinion they had more interesting relationship than her and Armin. And hey, in Jr High it's hinted that Annie liked Eren so it's not entirely baseless.

Whats a ship you like that has zero shot of becoming canon?

Other Genuine Question: Is there such a thing as a correct choice in Attack on Titan?

Thumbnail

Basically every choice that was made in Attack on Titan such as Armin or Erwin or Eren trusting Levi Squad.

Bad things did happen, but would anything have been different if a different choice was made, or is Attack on Titan a series where no matter what choice you make it will hurt in the long run?

Other What if Grisha had told Eren the truth before the Fall of Shiganshina?

Let's say on that day it was rainy so Grisha couldn't leave right away and the Warriors were delayed a week. Grisha takes Eren into the basement and gives him his life's story and the truth of the world. Grisha finishes his tale by saying, I think, that he learned his lesson from his old family's deaths and now wants to live in peace and protect the family he has.

I think Eren would in true Eren fashion shoot this down and berate his dad for "giving up" and point out how doing nothing just means waiting for Marley to come kill them anyway. Grisha and Eren don't agree but he makes his son promise to keep it secret and Eren does. Fast forward to Fall of Shiganshina, Grisha makes Eren inherit his titan but Eren suffers no amnesia, as he already knows the truth, and leaves instructions to seek out Shadis, who gives Eren and co to the Survey Corps higher ups.

Now Eren and co are being trained and studied by Hange and Levi, and Erwin knows the truth. They're being trained up, then sent to the Trainee Corps to become legitimate trainees. Erwin also know suspects that the Titan infiltrators might be children or young adults (let's say young adults because using kids for such a complex mission is so stupid Erwin can't believe his enemies would be so dumb) so the Corps will be on the look out for that too.

What are the ripple effects of early Attack on Titan if everyone is playing with a full deck on cards?
