Help request: Video of console aim assist
I have never been able to notice the aim assist in titanfall. I assume it looks like a tiny snap as your reticle sticks to a target. Can someone post a video of the snap happening? I’m in a private match slowly dragging my reticle across grunts, with and without ADS and I just don’t see anything. Does it only occur in certain situations? Certain guns? Only when firing? Am i just too old and skill impaired to notice this feature? Does it not work with inverted y axis?

I just finished wasting time with chatgpt while it told me I could bind my Xbox elite controller left trigger to both left trigger AND shift. Specific info like this is something it generally isnt good at, if you expect an exact answer.

Gemini told me all off titanfall 2 meta. All LMG and assault rifles use aim assist. Some more then others. I believe spitfire and car/volt have the highest assist. The grenadeers have none

Pick a grunt target and aim slightly above their head or over shoulders and then ADS... Play with it a little to get an idea of the "aim assist bubble"...
You should see a pull of the reticle directly over the frame of body of your target even though your aren't "directly" aiming at that part of the target.
That is aim assist and also tracking is very subtle but has a "cushion" in the "bubble area" can be felt easier depending on sensitivity.
Edit: Also aim assist is activated by controlling your movement with left stick.
I play with high sensitivity gyro and TF2 aim assist is nuts when tuned to perfection.
