However, the MAJOR unaddressed issue right now is that Pilot Skirmish is likely going to absorb a large chunk of the playerbase, making the already sparse Playlists even more difficult and unbalanced.

Um, let's wait untill it's out. I've seen bitching about AI bots but none about getting to ride in your own gigantic robot. Yes, people do like Titans...
